There are many ways to show your parents you love them. These are just a few suggestions you may want to consider. It's not a bad thing to do all the time, either.
- Tell them you love them in a letter. This is something they can read over and over again; then tell them in person whenever you get the chance.
- Detail and wash their cars. Sometimes they don't get a chance to do it themselves or have it done.
- Mow the grass and trim the trees; without actually being told to do so
- Clean the garage and your room, again without being told
- Prepare a four or five course dinner in their honor. (Have a friend help you if need be.)
- Give them a really big hug for no reason
- Do well in school; make something of yourself
- Tell them the truth, no matter how bad it may be. Remember, they love you too.
- Send them a big beautiful house plant, without their being a reason, just to say you love them
- Spend some time with them. As you grow older, they are going to miss that the most. They love you very much and not spending some quality time with them is the worst thing you could do.(next to going to jail, that is)
How many more idea's can you come up with on your own? You know your parents better than anybody else. Say “I love you” in the many different ways you treat them.
