Being a 14-year-old teenager I can truly say that I can see a decreasing number of sexually active teens in our society. The number, I believe is decreasing due to the fact that teens are realizing that sex is a gamble that could easily make them: very sick (due to STDs), looked down upon by their peers, and punished severely by their parents or guardians.
Although some may say the music and shows of today glorify sex, violence, and drugs, I believe the youth of this world are growing up. I also believe by teaching Sex Ed at schools, young people are realizing that it is not all what you see on TV. Lives have been ruined due to teens having sex.
In conclusion, I believe that if the world continues on this path, we will see the number of sexually active teens go down even more than it already has. The youth of today are stepping up and realizing that you don't have to be sexually active to be cool.
