High-school - the Work, the Friends, the Life

This is a very informative story about what teenagers go through going through the stages of high-school. This is also a great help for parents.

High-School starts when you're either 12 or 13 years of age and is the start of your secondary education. Where your basic skills are put to the test and made to be substantial with the current worlds needs.

The Work

School at this level of education takes up quite a bit of your personal time with Assignments, Homework and other tasks needed to be completed these all become one big ball of stress. Stress leads to emotional issues which can lead to having a fight with friends or problems with parents.

My answer to parents would be set up a desk in your Childs room or have a room dedicated to school related issues and tasks - this room could consist with a computer (for researching purposes) a desk, Calender and a time chart.

Let me explain this a bit more clearly, Computer is for those long and painful tasks such as writing a speech or researching a specific product etc. This saves a lot of time instead of the walk down to the library and this helps produce less stress. A desk - Dedicated to pen and paper work such as mathematics, writing tasks etc. Calender and time chart - These are great and I recommend these to all families they are used for keeping your child's homework scheduled and to know when tasks are due.

The Friends

Most teenagers that go to high-school will mostly say that they don't have the same friends as they did 1 - 3 years ago. Whether it's over something simple like a fight or a relationship change friends will always come and go.

Getting Through This Problem

Definition of change - To Transfer from one thing to another. Change can be a hard process to overcome but everyone will experience change sometime in their lives and you have to deal with it as it comes. My advice here would be have a variety of friends don't just stick with a small group, its high-school there are a lot of people to talk to and meet. Making other friends is a great opportunity for better social benefits etc. One example would be if you're having trouble with your old friends you have other friends you can turn to.

The Life

Conclusion

High-School is a very hard thing to overcome with the gain and loss of friends and family, stressful times in life with a lot of studying and tests to do all at the same time or just a simple change in lifestyle no matter what high-school will always a great challenge for children and teenagers.
