Late for school? Here are the TOP five excuses!
- I had a terrible headache last night and couldn't sleep well.
(Try to look pale ) - My alarm clock ran out of battery and I forgot to change the battery. ( Look apologetic )
- My neighbour was having a party last night and it was so noisy, I could hardly sleep a wink. ( Look tired )
- Huh? I wasn't late, I had a stomachache, I was in the toilet!! ( Make protesting noises )
- I had CCAs and tution yesterday, I really didn't have much time left to do my homework.. so I had to rush my homework at the last minute, sorry. ( Look tired )
However, if your teacher doesn't like excuses, just tell her you're sorry with an innocent look. That should do the trick
Although the best method is not to be late, of course.
