No matter what is the degree of sexual education, or how hot the sexual topic is being discussed on the page of newspapers or magazines, people seem to uphold certain myths and rumors on the pregnancy and contraception, and these beliefs seem to “preserve” through generations.
The common rumor and belief held among teenagers are first time sexual intercourse will not lead females to pregnancy. However, this is impossible as the girls who underwent the sexual intercourse for the first time may have possibility to pregnancy. There is no “free trial” for sexual intercourse.
Females who are experiencing the period of menstruation will not pregnant. Though during menstruation the possibility for females to pregnant is relatively low but there are cases where females experiencing pregnancy after having sexual intercourse with males.
If the males try to control the secretion of sperms during the sexual intercourse then he can reduce the pregnancy rate among females. This belief is not true. The volume of sperms is good enough to lead females to pregnancy.
The females who jump straightaway after undergoing sexual intercourse will not pregnant. This is not true. Any unsecured sexual intercourse will not reduce the risk of pregnancy, though the females jump or do any exercises that involve the moving of certain parts of body. No matter whether females are standing or lying on the bed while having sexual intercourse, the sperms can be injected into the entrance of uterus, cervix within 90 seconds.
Females can avoid pregnancy if they have a warm bath before the sexual intercourse. This is not true. Contraception is impossible by having a warm bath.
Females only pregnant if they have “peak” hours of sexual intercourse. This is not true. In any unsecured sexual intercourse, females can pregnant even though their sexual intercourse is not being “bloomed up” during the “sexual transaction”.
Only females who undergo sexual intercourse through their mouths by swallowing the males' semen will pregnant. This is not true. The semen which is swallowed through the mouth cannot reach the uterus.
If the penis is not completely inserted into the female's cervix, in other words, the males inject the semen around the exterior part of the vaginal but not the inner part of the vaginal, females will not pregnant. This is untrue. The sperms can travel through the vaginal and subsequently move to uterus.
After undergoing sexual intercourse, flush out the sperms sticking on the surface of vaginal with water, soap or warm Coke can prevent females from pregnancy. Flushing out is not effective to avoid contraception but can further leading to vaginal infection.
Females who haven reached the age of menstruation will not pregnant though they have touched with sexual affairs. This is not true again. At this stage, females may also pregnant. During the puberty and adolescent period, the ovaries start producing eggs even before the cycle of menstruation.
The immediate urination after the sexual intercourse will wash away the sperms inserted into females' reproductive system and prevent females from pregnancy. It is useless to do so. The urine flows through urethra, which is located top of the vaginal, and thus it will not flush the sperms away.
