Uniforms At School: Yes Or No

i think uniforms area abad idia because not everyone can afford it and not everyone is comfortable in them
so we shouldnt have uniforms

I don't think there should be school uniforms because I like my clothes and if they want us to be indviduals, they should let us wear our own clothes. Also, my school is already in debt, so why waste money on school uniforms when we need the money for more important things.

Why should they force us to wear somthing we don't like. And like Ashliegh said there are more important things than uniforms! I just think it's unfair Cause adults have controle over us right? And when they take a tole on how many adults want US to wear uniforms they all gang up and agree . No one stands up for us! So the only thing we can do is be tortured by the decision THEY made!

The teacher vs student is irrelevent. They must adhere to the dress code of their employer. And schools do have dress codes for teachers.

So I am for a dress code for the student body. Nothing extreme but definately not pants hanging off the rear end or the street corner for girls as an example.

i think that uniforms ar pretty and that people can't judge you on what you wear.

i don't think we should wear uniforms it will just make the school taxes higher and for the poor famelies they will have to pull their kid out and have to move to another school with out uniforms and the kid wont have any firends and he'll feel worse than wering the uniform

well everybody have their own oppinion but i somewhat think there should be uniforms because so many kids these days get picked on and teased on what they wear..so if we wearthe same thing it would solve that problem. as well as girls who do not know how to cover their chest or bottoms. lol!! disgusting!!! who wnat to see a fat chick with her boobs hanging. i dont. how bad can it be to wear uniforms for what 6 hours and than go home and change to other clothes.

Yea.. I totaly agree that uniforms suck.. For thous of us that dot have much cash thats just more clothes that i got to buy. my oldest of four just started kindergarten now i have to buy scool uniforms and clothes to wear at home..

school uniforms are a waist of time. they show that we look all the same when we are totally differnet inside and out. not everyone can afford uniforms anyway. goodwill sells clothes really cheap and some arent half bad. why should everyone suffer from what other people cant afford? thats just plain stupid. I use to wear a uniform and it was the worst thing i could ever look at. yeah it might "save time in the morning" but i would rather pick my clothes out at night or get up 5-10 minutes earlier than wear a uniform i hate. if you like uniforms so much then put your child or children in a school where they only beilieve in uniforms and dont make a big riot over it. we have dress code, at least we have that. dress codes are way better than a uniform. uniforms are tacky and uncomfortable, and i would rather be confortable than anything. :) peaceee!
