I have to scan my notes, and do mountainous of home works before having a good and enjoying time of playing cyber games. As all computer addicts say, "Dive the deepest sea or climb the highest mountain, we'll do anything for our mission be attained". Exaggerated but quite true indeed. Nowadays, Elementary, High School or even college students finds playing as a blithe of their soul instead of sensible things that can be learned through school. It is quite alarming that students of this present time give more importance on playing than learning. Negative, but let us face this fact that these online games have smitten the attention of many students and these may lead to further negative effects. I myself is a best example. I'll do anything to have my parents allow me to play, cross a mile-width river or even jump the highest peak in earth.
My parents are both educators and they always reminds me of valuing one's image specially theirs. A teacher's kid should only be focusing on school works, as my other siblings did. As a teacher's child, it is hard for me to act accordingly to what they want, the pressure and all earth worthy things are always pushed through us, as their child. "Always prioritize your study, or else…" or else what? Dreadful consequences will follow such as no computer for a month - the most valuable thing for an online game addict like me. My allowance will be decreased up to fifty percent or higher. Yes indeed, maintaining my average no lower than eighty-seven is a hard task, as well as competing with my classmates in the star section plus the pressure they always leaned upon me.
I never wondered why there are students who give up studying and play online games instead. Studying requires endeavor, patience, exertion and all earth-shaking tasks while playing does not require anything as long as you have the time, costly cards along with your money, presto! You'll surely get pleasure from playing games. See, there are really big differences between these two English words aside from their spelling. Rationally thinking, people usually choose a situation at ease than a situation that requires a lot of effort like many students did. As a student, I admit that sometimes my focus on my study was taken by playing online games and this is quite alarming for the part of my parents. My time in playing games as well as studying become divided.
I once became captivated by these virtual games when my classmates first introduced this to me. Upon sitting in front of the computer, my consciousness have got into a world where everyone feels at ease and having a good time playing with other online game aficionados. The feeling was actually beyond description. Every player feels the same way, I assume. And besides, being in a world where everyone is free from anxiety is a world where everyone is yearning to live in. That's the main reason I think why every aficionados became captivated by this anxiety-releasing games. Maybe, this became our point of relaxation after having a hard time studying at school, after experiencing tiresome activities and difficulties in our true and real life. This is a world where everyone deserves to be happy and forget everything about the problems that we encounter in real life situation. Now let us come to a point of insight, I ask you to choose between a wearisome world and a blissful humanity, what would you choose? Everyone deserves a contented life but let us always put to our mind that repentance and regret always comes late.
Maintaining my high grades as well as an active account became my daily goal. Balance is the key subject for every success. According to my reference, balance is a state in which two opposing forces or factors are of equal strength or importance so that they effectively cancel each other out and stability is maintained. Applying to my subject, the two opposing forces or factors are my study and playing online games and so, the key question was, how could I cancel out these two factors so that I can balance my study and playing online games? For me, the answer is precise time management and self-discipline with the intention of canceling each other so that stability is maintained. Time was considered as gold and therefore, we should spend our time in doing sensible things. Sensible things include our goals in life, things that may or may not be sensible in other's outlook. In my own view, sensible things include things that make me happy and contented such as playing online games and other people finds it ridiculous especially those who do not appreciate the value and essence of these games for us who value it.
