Schools are getting a little bit crazy about cell phones. If teachers can bring cell phones to school why not us. Today I got my cell phone taken away and I have to wait 5 days and pay $15 and pick it up from the police department. I followed all the rules. My phone was off, and it was not visible. What happened was I normally placed my cell phone in my right pocket and I place my money in my left pocket. Well this time I put both my money and my cell phone in my left pocket because I almost missed my bus early today. I was in a line at lunch and I was next to order.
After I ordered I pulled out my money and my phone came flying out of my pocket (I have the iPhone). After hurrying to make sure my phone still worked, a teacher came up behind me asking me to give him the phone. He saw me pull the money out of my pocket and realized that I did not do anything wrong yet he still decided to take my phone.
I refused at first until he threatened to get the police and from there I would have to pay a fine of $125 dollars. I hate my school. I did not do anything wrong and I got my phone taken up. We teens need to group up and do something about this. This is not a matter that I can go through for the rest of my high school years. They need to lighten up. Its important that we bring cell phones in case there is an emergency. Plus, I think that teacher just did not like me. He's seen people taking pictures with their phones and only told them to put it up. I guess he is just jealous because he cant afford an iPhone. Who knows, hopefully he just did not want me to bring it to school anymore. If there is one scratch on my phone on its journey from my school to the police department there is going to be some problems.
