School is a huge step for children who have lived with their parents for lots of years. Some kids are not ready to attend kindergarten, since they are used to being with their parents. Trust me, I know, I have been through that spot before. It will take some time for the child to get accustomed to the environment of a stranger taking care of you, and about 10-20 different kids around you. But time in time, all your children will slowly getting used to school. If your child is going to kindergarten, tell him if there is a child who misses his/her mom, that he/she should play with that person so that the child enjoys school as well. If your child is very homesick in the classroom, tell your child to relax, to enjoy school, and if that doesn't work, ask the teacher if you could take your child out early, and then he will get more and more used to school. After the first months, your child will probably feel much more welcomed in school since he/she will know more kids and have friends, making your child for more comfortable in the classroom. after the first few grades, he/she will get more and more used to going to school, and feel more confident, thus resulting in a better social life. Remember parents, giving your child confidence is one of the keys to success. I have noticed some children that have parents who don't have much communication with their parents, resulting them in bottling up their emotions and problems, sometimes causing depression. After the 6 th grade, most of your child's friends tend to split, one going to a different place. Thanks to their skills learned in elementary, they can now create more friends, and enjoy middle school even more than in elementary since they know how school works already. Its better if your child goes to pre-school, that way they have talking skills and social skills already worked out, helping them in kindergarten. There is a lot more to kids than most adults think. It is better for all parents and children to commune with each other, that way a parent will know what's wrong, and help out their child even better than trying to guess what is wrong with them.
