How to Pass an Exam Without any Problems

Here are some of the most important tips on how to pass an exam effectively.

“Don't let yourself run after the words, instead let the words come to you.”

In most cases, memorizing has been the hardest part to do, especially if that person doesn't like the topic. Here are some of the tips you might want to take time to read for a better chance of perfecting your techniques in memorizing long terms and definitions.

  • Read first the whole of your reviewer before you begin your actual memorization
  • It is effective that your reviewer has highlighted parts

There are times in actual exams when people actually say that they remember the page where the answer is supposedly located in their reviewer for that certain number, only that they just fail to remember what is written there. With those two tips above, you can actually increase your photographic memory which might be useful during the test. First, maybe you would ask why you need to read first the whole before memorizing it and you would say that it is actually a total waste of time. The more logical explanation of it is to compare how you memorize a song and an article. Remember that it is much easier for you to memorize a song than to memorize a single line from an article, why? Because when you memorize songs you actually let yourself hear the song more than once. Just like when you read first all the terms, you are already familiar with them by the time you memorize them. Second, by the use of the highlighters and colored pens in your reviewer, you can actually increase the capacity of your brain to digest what you are reading. Again we would be using logical explanation to explain the technique. Have you ever wondered why you can actually narrate the whole story of the movie after watching it once than uttering a single word from your reviewer? It is because the movie is colored while the writings on your reviewer are purely black. With the use of highlighters and colored pens, you could increase your ability to memorize up to 80%, and it is not just theoretical but a fact.

  • Never memorize just few hours before the test because all the things you've memorized will easily be forgotten. It could be that the brain would have a hard time retrieving the stored information or the data were not really stored in the brain in the first place.
  • Wait for an hour (after studying) before taking up a self testing exam

What is shared by both techniques is the proper digestion of information in your mind. Just like the food we eat, the information we store in our minds should properly be digested first before it can be usable for the physical and mental aspect of life.

  • Increase you iron intake. It will aid your brain cells in becoming efficient in storing data.
  • It's always been good study but never let yourselves be stressed out because not only will it negatively affect your ability to perceive things properly, but it will also give you serious bad health conditions
  • Know the “Type of Learners” and observe which group you belong to

There are three main types of learners: the visual, auditory and the kinesthetic learners. I won't be focusing on explaining them one by one, but I will just be giving you a little information on the things they do to learn. The visual learners rely more on the things they see rather than what they actually hear. The auditory learners are a complete opposite of the visual learners. They tend to rely on what they hear rather than what they see. Maybe you have observed that there are some people who do not focus on class discussions or fall asleep perhaps, but then they can still answer the questions being thrown to them. It is because although there eyes are not looking at the visual aid, they can still process the things that comes to their ears. The kinesthetic learners are the most complex type learners because they are actually active, noisy but still the ones who have the tendency to excel in class. They are very good in puzzles and other analytical problems. They can't study without walking, chewing bubblegum or television perhaps. They are the ones that have the greatest tendency to get perfect in exams because they tend to be creative in studying their notes, but they are also the ones who have the greatest tendency to fail because they are easily distracted by the things that surround them.

  • Never forget to pray before studying. It's always been effective in helping people in their problems when they seek help from God. It's not always been good to just rely on our own abilities because as we all know, humans have the tendency to fail.

They are just some of the few tips on memorizing, and I hope you have a great time reading it. I am very sure that those tips would help you the way it helped me before. God Bless You All!

Interesting work, I do not wish to take anymore exams in my lifetime now but there are some I know who will benefit from your advice.

Great work.

I have actually gone back to school for a second education and this time around I am top in my class. I know it has to do with my age since I am much more disciplined now after owning 2 businesses.

I study completely different now. I have rewired my brain to learn by association.
