Are you studying for an important test? Then the following will help out:
- Get a good night's sleep. Sleep for at least 8 hours the day before the test/interview, that way you'll be less likely to dose off in the middle, or say something that you don't mean to.
- Eat a healthy breakfast, and try to get a little snack. If you eat a really healthy breakfast, and have an apple or banana right before going in, you'll be able to pay attention to the importat stuff rather than your stomach.
- Don't cram. Cramming is very bad, study at least 1 month beforehand, if it's really important. If you allow yourself a month to study, you'll be able to remember more. Cramming causes you to remember only the last few things you looked at, making it very hard to pass.
- Find an easy way to study. Don't just read it out of the book, make flash cards and get a friend in on the action. If you have fun while studying, you'll be studying more often and have a better chance passing.
- Know your limits. Don't try to answer a question if you're not sure of the answer, you'll end up wasting valuable time on it. Instead, mark the question, and finish everything you know. When you get back to it, you may have found the answer from the later questions. If not, you'll, at least, have time to work on that question without worrying about others.
I hope this helps you out the next time you need to take an exam!
