It all began when my 8 year old son was given this pink pig pencil topper. This cute little thing is less than an inch long but he inspired my son's amazing imagination. Using paper and parts to a wood birdfeeder kit, he began to make a home for pig.

As you can see, pig has a bed, couch, picture on the wall, table, and plant. Every night before my son goes to bed, he tucks pig into bed. You can't see it in this photo but there is a small piece of napkin cut to size for pig's blanket. Over the weeks Pig's house has grown. He now has a club house...

A shed.....

And a large yard complete with swimming pool.....

All this is in our family room on the floor and doesn't appear to be going any where soon.
Using an old magazine, my son made a picture book for Pig to enjoy as well.

One night my son couldn't find Pig. We thought he was going to have a melt down. Search and rescue efforts began and after some searching Pig was found under the couch. Being a rubber pig he bounced when he fell off the couch while watching T.V. with him.
It's amazing what can happen when a child uses their imagination. I hope you have all enjoyed visiting Pig's house with me. I will keep you updated on Pig's adventures.
