First, I must admit that it was fun to play World of Warcraft, but then I became addicted. I wanted to play, no matter what and with this attitude I nearly fucked up my graduation. But I didn't care, the only thing that was in my mind was to get my Character to Level 60. I played every free second and reduced the time that I slept to a minimum that nearly made me ill but I still didn't care. I even welcome this because that way I would have even more time to play because the thing you need most for World of Warcraft is time, the second is money...
And after I met my girlfriend, I nearly lost her because I was so addicted. She helped me to wake up and realize that I need to get away from World of Warcraft.
Now after I'm healed, my girlfriend said that she would like to play together with me World of Warcraft.
But how?
Sure, we could create accounts for us and start playing but we have so few time that it would only suck because we could play max. 4 hours of a normal day, that makes a loss of 20 hours.
If we would pay for 30 days 13€ and can only play 4 of 24 hours a day that makes a loss of 30x20 hours which would be 600 hours. And that is 83,33% which makes a loss of 10,84€.
That means that we would lose nearly 11€ a month, only because we have a life. Well some people would say that that's not much money but, if it's so few, why don't you just give it to us?
But thats not the only bad thing if you want to play World of Warcraft if you have a life, the second point is, with max. 4 hours, you can forget nearly every Instance and Raid because you won't get fast enough the other players you need and won't be fast enough to finish the run before you need to go sleep.
So you would have two choices:
1 st break off the run and go to bed.
2 nd stay awake and play until you finish the run but loose time to sleep.
Well, in my eyes it's hard but true: the only people who can really get forward in World of Warcraft are the people without a life, because no one with a real life would have enough time for his life AND World of Warcraft.
I don't want to provoke anybody who is playing World of Warcraft, but if I provoked you, try to think about it why you feel provoked:
If you don't play much, let's say 2-3 hours a day, then keep the money in mind that's wasted because you pay for the time in World of Warcraft but couldn't fully use it. If Blizzard would change their way of calculating your time to let's say, a hour based system, every thing would be better for the paying user, but not for Blizzard. That's why they don't change it...
If you play much time of the day and don't waste much of the money, think about what you have from that.
What will you get if you get Level 60? Nothing of real value
What will you get if you find an Epic Set Part that could be sold for 300g? Nothing...
Now think about the time you're investing, don't you think you could use it for better things? If you have a girlfriend/boyfriend, got and spent much time with her/him because that's better for your soul than that Epic for your Ego.
If you don't have a girlfriend/boyfriend yet, try to find someone for you, even the long and most times frustrating search for a partner is better than playing World of Warcraft and wasting your time and money to a game.
If you don't think so, please feel free to write a comment of what you think about this.
Thanks for reading.
Note: I'm publishing this text for my boyfriend because he asked me for this.
i just wish it was one time play forever.
