Of course one of the best in changing the environment in my opinion was the use of electricity. And then the next one would just have to be not only the car but the telephone. Of which my daughter thinks she would not be able to survive if she did not have at least one available to her at all time. She even sleeps with her cell phone!! Could it be possible that it has taken the place of her security blanket? When I was about my daughters age was when the first drive threw restaurant was was built in Topeka, Kansas. We thought that it was awesome. And of course it became the hang out for every teenager in the town. Lets not forget one of the most popular traveling devise that most if not all of us have used, and that would be the airplanes. Even though I was not around when vehicles where invented my daughter thinks they where created AFTER I was born. Don't worry....I hit her.
Now lets go back to the invention of vehicles for a moment. Along with inventing the car we now have several things that have come about with that invention. We have polluted air, we have polluted water, we have an uprise in asthma, we have increased the respiratory problems with many people, we have polluted our plants with the polluted air, now all plants probably are not very happy about that...on the other hand my plants are probably very excited about it. I am sure that there are quite a few more that I am not even aware of or that I cannot think of.
And of course we cannot go on without adding at least one more environment change since you and I where small. That would be population explosion is rising dramatically. With that we have a greater need for more food, more homes, more clothes, which makes construction materials and space at a prime. So, many animals are extinguishing.
These are just a few of the changing environment that we have undergone over the years. I am sure that you could think of many more to add to this. Are we a better place for everything that has been invented? We could at this point live without them?
