Matching Makeup with an Outfit

Tips for matching makeup with an outfit are given.

An important to be taken care of when you are going out is to make sure that the make up is matching with the outfit you are wearing. You should at least wear the make up which goes well with the color of the dress. We usually see some people whose make up looks very loud and doesn't match at all with their outfits. If you don't wear proper make up which suits the color of your outfit, other people may think the same about your make up too.

But many women can not understand this and they go out with weird looking matches of attire and make up. I once saw a lady whom I have known getting ready for a party. She wore a beautiful pink frock which is very beautiful. But I felt shocked when she finished her make up. She was wearing a blue eye liner and an orange shade lip stick along with some other color blush. I was so aghast that I didn't mid asking her why she applied those things. She said that she liked those colors and that they are her favorite beauty products among the things she own. You can not say a thing to such people. She just applied those cosmetics because she liked them and she didn't even get the thought about checking if the dress and make up are matching, not even after I hinted.

There are many other women who think that the color of the lip stick ar an eye liner is good and use it. They don't mind about the color of the attire. This is a blunder in the case of make up. If you love the color and if it doesn't match your dress just resist yourself from using it.

At the same time using exactly the same color make up doesn't look good too. If you are wearing a light pink color dress, then wearing exactly the same color lip color or the same color eye shadow makes you look a bit strange and it really is overdoing. Instead you can go for some bright shades of pink. They really look good on the dress. Similarly, it is good to use light color make up on dark color dresses too.

If you are wearing a multi-colored dress, use the make up of the color which is most visible of all the colors on your dress.

If you have the correct shades of make up products that match your dress, try the smoky eye look for your eyes. They enhance the look of the make up. It is very simple to do. Blend three shades of eye shadow which has the color of your dress. Apply the lighter shade below eye brows, the moderately dark shade on the eye lids and finally the dark color above your lashes. This gives very beautiful look and it instantly shows that you are wearing the make up which is matching the color of your out fit.
