Though using blush was considered as a part of heavy make up as it makes the make up look loud. This was because earlier the colors used as blush are very dark and this used to make the blush seem a part of loud make up.
But soon blush has emerged as an important beauty product and these days it is one of the very important parties of the make up. Using a blush adds extra beauty to the face by giving a new look to the cheeks. A well applied blush adds a lot of beauty to a lady's face. Many people do this mistake to apply blush on the cheeks. It is not a correct method to apply blush. It should be applied at the back of the cheek bone.
With new shades of blush popping up every week in the market, it is not a difficult choice to choose a new one. A blush should be applied in very limited quantities and it should be applied in a way that the part is highlighted in your make up. It is an easy process to apply blush with the developed techniques and with the advent of new models.
You just need to apply the blush with a small brush available with the pack. Since the blush is used in very limited quantities and since it is used less often, you can use a single product for many days without it getting finished. This makes many people use the same blush till the pack is empty. But it is not a right thing to do. The product doesn't expire based on the quantity of the product remaining.
But this is not a good thing to do. Like anything and everything else, blush too has an expiry. The shelf period of the blush is two years, at maximum. Even if you think that it is in good condition, it is not advised to use it after that period. You can alternatively buy a new shade and try it on. Using new products and new sgades every now and then is a good thing to do as the changed products and shades enhances your beauty.
Many people use things even after the expiry period saying that they can be used for some time even after expiry period. But it is a wrong notion people have. Not all the products may cause ill effects after they have expired. But some products definitely harm the user. Then why should one take a chance?
Using the blush after the expiry period may cause harm to your skin. It may cause some pimples and black marks on the face which you don't want to have at the cost of a blush. You know that "Prevention is better than cure". So, it is a good thing to discard a blush pack after two years, irrespective of the quantity remaining and also the condition in which it is.
