Neptune

This is about the planet Neptune, the planet with the fastest winds in the solar system.

What is it?

Neptune is the Eighth planet from the sun; it is the largest planet in the solar system; it is the fourth of the four outer planets. It is a gas giant planet has a ring, just like ever one of the outer planets do. I think that they reclassified Uranus and Neptune into a category of ice giant. Neptune was named after the roman God of the sea. Neptune's Atmosphere is made up primarily of hydrogen and helium, with a trace of methane.

Neptune has the strongest winds in the solar system, measured as high as 1,300 mph. It was discovered on September 23, 1846. It is a very unique finding it was first ever planet discovered by math. William Lassell discovered Neptune's largest moon Triton. He made this discovery just 17 day after Neptune was discovered. Neptune is the ruling planet of the astrological sign of Pisces. It has something like Jupiter's big red spot. Neptune has a spot that we call the Great Dark Spot. When we first found it was in the southern hemisphere of the planet. Then it disappeared from sight for a couple months. Then it reappeared in the northern hemisphere of the planet. Now I think that I disappeared again. So long and read my article about the dwarf planet Pluto.
