Come to Mars! You will enjoy it, guaranteed!

Mars is the fourth closest planet to the sun. It is a small rocky planet, like Earth, not a Gaseous giant. Thank goodness, on a Gaseous giant like Jupiter, you would just sink into the planet!

Mars has two moons, it is a spectacular sight. They are called Phobos and Demos. They are the Roman gods of fear and war, but don't let that put you off. It is a real treat to stare up into Mars's sky and see two moons!

Things to Remember

It is recommended that you take some plants with you, and some fertile compost, and dirt. Martian air contains only a fraction of water compared to our air, however even this small amount can condense, forming clouds. There is evidence that in the past Mars may had water on its surface. Physical features closely resembling shorelines, gorges, riverbeds and islands suggest that great rivers once marked the planet

Be sure to take your thermal undies, and a protective space suit. Mars is about -63° C. It can get up to a nice 20° C at it's maximum temperature. It has a minimum temperature of -140° C, very cold. This is because Mars's atmosphere isn't as affective as keeping in heat as Earth's atmosphere.
