Eleven Planets in the Solar System

My views on modern astronomy.

The New Definition

The definition of a Planet is that a Planet is a body that orbits the sun, is large enough for its own gravity to make it round, and it has cleared its neighborhood of smaller objects. That means that it has to be large enough that gravity shifts the shape to be round and it has to have cleared its neighborhood of any thing other then itself.

International Astronomical Union's View of The Solar System

The International Astronomical Union new definition tells us that there are two types of planets, but only the first type is planets. They have Planets and Dwarf Planets, but only Planets are really counted by the International Astronomical Union, which I do not understand.

My view of Planets and Dwarf Planets

My view on the other hand is a lot different; they say that there are Eight Planets and Three Dwarf Planets in the solar system. I say they both have the word Planet in there name so I just combined the two and that means that there are 11 planets in the solar system.

My view on Pluto becoming Kuiper Belt Object

I never thought that Pluto was Kuiper Belt Object, I just thought that was a planet, I still think like that even today. The reason I say this is that I saw this picture on Wikipedia of the solar system and Kuiper Belt. Here is the picture:

Look at the cloud after the oval shaped orbit of Pluto. If Pluto was in fact Kuiper Belt Object then would not it follow the same orbit as the rest of the Kuiper Belt?

Yeah! I love prehistoric science fiction novels, I wish there were more authors that wrote about that sort of thing. It would be interesting to see what an aspiring author such as yourself, could bring to the boring past. Good work.

I dont approve of this "Tom" fellow. Please back-off, i found Bobby first. Anyways Robbie (if you dont mind me talking in pleasurable tones) Please hear me out, not a day goes by I tell you...please unearth new dino information to quench my thirst for these special creatures. The #10 Dinoboy12 is obviously not me Robert, please do not be fooled, for i would never hurt you. But i belive autism makes you special. I've done research on it earlier and found that autistic people tend to think up exceptional stories. Have you ever dreamt of being with your one true love Robbie? Your autism plays the role of a universal remote like the one featured in the movie Click. You can do anything Robert, all you need to do is focus! I bid you farewell Bobby, we shall meet in the kingdom of heaven. Remember, anything is possible Robbie!
Hugs and kisses

I realize that most of my articles are gone, the reason why they are gone is because am going to re-publish them. They will come with a lot more content and a lot better everything else and they will be easier to follow and any one can read them with out Quiting in the middle of the article. The reason I am re-publishing them is because I hit my creative peak the other day and I wanted to make all of them (Astronomy articles) better then they orginally were when I first published them.
