Crayons, chalks, oil paint, and pastel oil have many different colors. Colors are very useful in creating an art of any kind. Trees have many different species. Each tree has different colors of their leaves. A Maple tree for example, their leaves can be green, red, yellow or brown.
An artist from Japan named Kazou Akasaki loves art. He likes it so much that his family have supported him despite of the crisis they are going thru. They had so much debt that agents from different companies have been banging and knocking on their door to collect for their payments. But he continued to work on his artworks.
Kazou's art is so different from what other artist does. He does not use any crayons, chalk, or oil paint. He uses only leaves as the color for his creations. In 1986, Kazou received a phone call that has changed his life. His painting “Salon de Paris” has won the 1986 Art exhibition in Japan.
After that surprise phone call, Kazou was able to market his work and making him earn a lot of money which he was able to pay for their debts. Kazou's life was featured once in the television. He was also able to teach others who were interested in making an art out of leaves.
Here are some of Kazou Akasaki's Arts

All of these painting are created only by the use of leaves with no other colors added to it. His very detailed creation can take him half a year to finish each one just like the painting in the harbor with the boats parked. Kazou was also able to publish a book on instructions on how to paint with the use of the leaves. All leaves that are used on all of his painting are falling leaves only.
Blessings.
