Amazingly Fantastic Photographed Vegetables

Some class A photos of vegetables.

Here are some beautifully photographed vegetables that will certainly grab your attention and will cause you to take a closer look.

These aren't candies nor decorated marbles. This photo is a dried corn. Notice the dried husk on the left side of the photo.

This is one of the best vegetable photographs I had seen. This picture of carrots resembles the wheel of colors. I never thought that carrots have several color variations. According to some expert, carrots can be selectively bred to produce different colors.

This amazing fruit is intensely aromatic and is called Buddha's Hand citrus. It's known as a symbol of happiness, longevity and good fortune - just the thing for Chinese New Year. The rind is grated for use in pies, pastries, and sauces like using lemon or other citrus zest.

Green, orange and violet cauliflowers!? All the time I thought there is only one color of cauliflower, until I bumped into this photo depicting some amazing variants of this vegetable.

Many are saying that the Romanesca Broccoli is the most amazing looking vegetable and I tend to agree with this. Looking at the photographs of this vegetable is fascinating indeed.

This peculiar photo of a plant in a keyboard belongs to Garden Cress (Lepidium sativum). It is a fast-growing, edible plant botanically related to watercress and mustard and sharing their peppery, tangy flavor and aroma. In some regions, garden cress is known as garden pepper cress, pepper grass or pepperwort.

This picture is simply amazing but I can't seem to figure out what vegetable it is.

These two pretty and unique flowers commonly called Dandelion and Burdock. Burdock looks like cotton balls with spikes. Dandelion and burdock is a traditional British soft drink. Traditionally it is made from fermented dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and burdock (Arctium lappa) roots, and is naturally fizzy.

Even vegetable gardens can captivate one's attention. This beautiful garden of flowering kale, a member of the cabbage family, is located in Shanghai, China.

Asparagus soup had always been one of my favorites. This is a picture of green asparagus for sale in New York City

The two pictures above are like some sort of infant toys but they are not. These are fruits of Nelumbo nucifera. The dried seed cup is commonly used in flower arrangements. The lower one is a dried-out and mature lotus seed pods.

Te two above are two kinds of radicchio which I mistook for a red Chinese cabbage and a sliced red onion. This vegetable is called radicchio, a leaf chicory, sometimes known as Italian chicory. It is grown as a leaf vegetable which usually has white-veined red leaves. It has a bitter and spicy taste, which mellows when it is grilled or roasted. It can also be used to add color and zest to salads.

These are not some sort of hairy-creatures from outer space but these are called Fiddlehead Ferns. They are referred to the unfurled fronds of a young fern harvested for food consumption. The fiddlehead resembles the curled ornamentation (called a scroll) on the end of a stringed instrument, such as a fiddle. It is also called a crosier, after the curved staff used by shepherds and bishops.

This is not a freak tomato or a painted or sculpted fruit. This unusual vegetable is called the “turban squash”.

Thanks, hope you enjoyed this!!!
