You Decide: Dirty Car Windows or Beautiful Art?

Dirty windows are dirty windows or are they? Looks can be deceiving, but last impressions will last a lifetime and first impressions are soon forgotten.

The absolutely amazing skill of master artist Scott Wade and his uncanny ability to transform a dirty car windshield into a beautiful work of art, is mind-blowing.

Master artist Scott Wade possesses an incredible imagination in which he channels onto a dirty car windshield or window creating art masterpieces that are awe inspiring. It is the art of the 21st century and no one else does it quiet as well as Scott Wade, the master artist of the dirtiest canvases in the world.

Mona Lisa

One of the world's most famous and most valuable paintings by Leonardo Da Vinci, is unquestionably the Mona Lisa that was painted in the 16th century. Since then, many other talented artists have tried to re-create the beautiful painting by using a variety of neat and clever approaches. Scott Wade is one of the few that has managed to dust out this famous masterpiece on the back windows of dirty cars and quiet impressively to say the least.

Dogs Playing Poker

Dogs Playing Poker was painted by C. M. Coolidge after being commissioned in 1903 by Brown & Bigelow as part of a cigar advertising campaign. Probably, one of the most famous paintings that have ever circulated in bars and pool halls around the world has been reborn through the eyes of Scott Wade's reproduction in dirt itself.

An American Solider

This may not be a reproduction of legendary artists' famous art masterpieces, but it is a brilliant tribute to the fighting men and women who have chosen to wear the uniform of the red, white and blue, we call America our "home sweet home".

Happy Holidays

Santa Claus' jolly good cheer is clearly captured in this creative portrait of the one that knows if you have been naughty or nice and visits good little girls and boys once a year baring a bag full of gifts.

Vincent & Peter

Vincent Price “The Master of Horror” and Peter Lorre were two of the most memorable American film actors of the 20th century. Mr. Wade managed to hone in on the tiniest detail of Vincent's face so much so that it actually gave me flashbacks from watching his horror hour on Saturday mornings when I was much younger than I am now. The back window is the Wolfman & Mummy, just if you were curious to know this information.

Him and Her

Maybe these two characters remind you of someone that you might know, but nevertheless these two remind me to have my eyes checked, because they appear to be experiencing a mind-melt gone way too long.

The Piano and The Beast

”Home, home on the range, where the deer and the antelopes play”, just needed to get that tune out of my head after discovering this interesting piece that goes to show that even the bullies among us can calm down to some soothing sounds of classical music played on a baby grand piano.

American Gothic

American Gothic is a world-famous painting from 1930 by Grant Wood, portraying a farmer holding a pitchfork and standing next to him is a stern looking younger woman that is most likely his wife. Wade has skillfully recreated this classic American masterpiece using only brushes and a keen eye to detail, so to turn a dirty mess into a beautiful masterpiece at least until the rain comes and washes it all away.

Horror: Back Window

Now honestly, I personally recognize two of three monsters staring out the back window of this Toyota, but not the one on the far left side. The middle monster of horror is Dracula and the one to the right of him is Frankenstein. This is one of my personal favorites from Mr. Scott Wade's collection.

Impermanent Albert

This is a fantastic portrait of probably the world's most famous theoretical physicist and Nobel Peace Prize winner for Physics in 1921. He is best known for his theory of relativity (E=MC2) and his involvement in the creation of the world's first atom bomb, which was used over Japan that ended the fighting between Japan and America at the end of World War 2.

Scott Wade has more than proven his most unusual artistic abilities as you can see by the examples presented in this article, but if you are interested in learning more about Scott Wade or would be interested in seeing more of his collections then just go here.

I just cannot believe my eyes, because it is unbelievable that instead of using paint this guy uses only dirt. There is so much that could go wrong like the wind blowing too hard or a sudden rain shower or dusting off too many layers of dirt. These are amazing. Great work, Nelson and I'm waiting to read your next article.

He seems to be quite a creative genius. It just seems sad that he does such wonderful work and it can be washed off by a rain storm.

Great story and pics, Nelson. Take care and God bless.

He is a talented artist but why does he work on dirty car windows? The dust will fade away and his art will be gone. You would think he would want something to show for all his hard work. I guess it does take all kinds of people to make a world.
