He sings "Bless your beautiful hide" while looking. He meets Millie and asks her to marry him. She turned out to be spoken for but married him anyway. She is very happy that she only has to cook and clean for one man and sings "Wonderful Wonderful Day". She goes to Adam's house and is disappointed to find out that he has 6 brothers. She fixes dinner and the brothers are slobs so she tips the table and goes to her room.
The next day she fixes breakfast and they are nice and have manners. Then she teaches them how to dance and be kind so they can get a girl. Then they go to the barn raising. The brothers are in a dancing contest and try to impress the girls they find. The suitors are keeping them from dancing with the girls but they find a way to sneak in and dance some. Then they start a contest of building the barn. The suitors were trying to get the brothers to fight and it worked. Everyone starts fighting and the whole place falls apart. Back at the house Millie cleans up the brothers. Adam sings "When Your in Love."
They go to the lumber yard and the brothers sing "Lonesome poll cat." The brothers are all love sick and sing "Sobbin Women." That gives them a idea and they go into town and take the girls. They were getting chased but they caused an avalanche so they couldn't get followed all the way to their cabin. Millie gets mad and makes them sleep in the barn. Adam goes to the trapping cabin to stay. The next day the girls get into a fight about who was looking at the brothers.
Then Millie comes in and tells them she is going to have a baby in the spring. The girls are happy and sing “June Bride.” They are starting to fall for the brothers. Then Millie has her baby. Adam comes back and is mad that she had a girl and not a boy. Then the snow clears so the girls fathers come to get them back. They don't want to leave so each of them say that the baby is theirs. The fathers say they have to marry the brothers. They have a shotgun wedding.
