Graffiti is one of the most controversial art forms, due to its roots as a form of vandalism. As this art form evolved into a way to beautify cities, buildings and rooms, the creativity of the artists has expanded into many other common art forms.
One of those common art forms is the optical illusion. An optical illusion plays a trick on the mind using size, shapes, and lines. The follow pieces graffiti art are some of the best graffiti optical illusions ever captured on film. Enjoy!

This picture uses depth perception issues to make it seem like the steps are coming right out from the wall.

This tiny bit of graffiti may be overlooked by the casual passerby because of it's size, but it is also humorous and makes it seem like there is a hole in the wall.

What an easy way to clean up the streets! Just sweep in into the wall!

A pool? In the middle of the street? The subject in the photo adds to the illusion by making it seem like he is dipping his foot in the pool.

This is my favorite. The artist “continues” his surroundings into the painting on the wall, while also using great shadows, and imagery.
