Digital Art Gallery

In this virtual art gallery I will highlight and explain some digital art methods and I will show off my mad skills.

I am going to take you through a digital art gallery. All of these artworks were made in Photoshop CS3.

Obviously by you reading this article you have an interest in the "digital arts" as they are aptly named.

In this tour there are demonstrations of several techniques that I hope you will appreciate.

This particular piece is an illustration of captain America before he transcended time and space.

I feel that I made this to represent my vivid patriotic feelings. The technique in the scene is some mild smudging but mostly light manipulation.

This is one of my earlier pieces, I feel that it represents how hard and cruel life can really be…for a jeep.

The styles demonstrated in this piece are lots of smudging and some abstract C4D's (large renders of and abstract nature)

Also used here is simple brushing to smooth the colors together and create a singular focus.

This vibrantly colorful piece was obviously inspired by the move "IRON MAN" starring Robert Downey Jr. I rather like it,

Although I got rather harsh criticism when released originally. In this piece I did a process I call "Layering" where you make a blank layer

And put the desired color sparsely around it, then take out a smudge brush and move it around a bit. Doing this several times creates this type of look.
