Athena in the Parthenon

It is a simple paragraph about Athena in the Parthenon.

My piece of artwork is named “Athena in the Parthenon”. It represents a very famous landmark, Athena, in Athens, Greece, built many centuries ago. Athena is from Athens, Greece. It's over 2430 years old. This piece of artwork is related to history because the Greek city, Athens, was named after Athena. She was a goddess born from the forehead of Zeus. Athena and her uncle Poseidon (the sea god) competed for the affections of the Greeks. They each made a gift. Poseidon created either a horse or saltwater spring. However, Athena created the olive tree, which proved the most useful to the Greeks. That is how the Greeks came to name the capital of Greece Athens. The actual sculpture was destroyed in the Persian invasion in 480 B.C.E. The Parthenon, built on the Acropolis of Athens, still stands. It is where the original Athena monument stood.
