Burj Dubai located in Dubai is currently the tallest man made structure ever built despite the fact that it isn’t even fully built. Construction began on September 21st 2004 and is projected to be finished in September 2009. Although the projected final height is being kept secret some believe it is around 2700 feet.

Guangzhou TV & Sightseeing Tower is currently being built in Guangzhou, China and s expected to be finished in time for the 2010 Asian games. There is going to be an observation deck, radio transition facilities as well as revolving restraints and cinemas
Abraj Al Bait Towers
The Abraj Al Bait Towers is a building complex under construction located in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. There are seven towers that are grouped as one giant building than when completed will be 1950 feet tall. It will have the largest amount of floor space in the world with a staggering 15,600,000 square feet.
Kingkey Finance Tower
The Kingkey Finance tower is currently under construction in Shenzhen, China. It is projected to be 1440 feet and is being used for mostly for office space. The top 4 floors will contain a garden a well as several restaurants.
Freedom Tower
The Freedom tower located in New York City is projected to be 1776 feet tall. Construction began on April 27, 2006 at The World Trade Center site. It is projected to be finished sometime in 2012. Three other high rises are planned which will surround the World Trade Center Memorial. It will have around 2.6 million square feet and feature world class restaurants
Federation Tower
The Federation Tower being built in Moscow Russia will become the tallest building in Europe upon its completion. Construction began in 2003 and is expected to be finished in 2009. There will be a west and east tower with a bridge connecting them which will contain restaurants and cafés. It will also contain the highest clock in the world
International Commerce Centre
The International Commerce Center is a 118 story skyscraper being built in West Kowloon, Hong Kong. A 5 star hotel will occupy the top 15 floors which will become the world’s highest hotel upon its completion. It is projected to be completed in 2010.
