Homes Fit for Royalty

A look at some magnificent homes with some exuberant price tags.

I found one such home that is more than fit for a Prince. It is a private residence not far from London England, located in Windlesham, Surrey, England. This spectacular home was built for Prince Sami Gayed of Egypt, in 1924. With its own private park surrounding the estate what more could a Prince ask for. According to Wikipedia, the estimated monthly cost for upkeep is well over £250,000 ($ 390,829.35 US Dollars).

This piece of real estate is listed by the renowned Forbes for a smart $138 million dollars. So you can see why only a Prince might be able to afford it. But check it out for yourself and goggle this magnificent home.

Another luxurious home is Hala Ranch, which is located in Aspen Colorado. This prime estate belongs to the family of Prince Bandar bin Sultan, who was the former ambassador to the US from Saudi Arabia. This home is listed at $ 135 million, making this the most expensive price of real estate in the United States. There are so many rooms in this house one could truly get lost inside it.

And who could ask for a more gorgeous view than these Majestic Aspen scenery surrounding this spacious home.

The builder of this Mansion was thinking ahead by building on the Tax-free side of Lake Tahoe.

Joel Horowitz, cofounder of Tommy Hilfiger is selling this beauty. This home list on the real estate market at $100 million US dollars. It is located in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. This home like all the others has so many rooms and extras it is a millionaires paradise.

And every fantasy has to have a castle in it somewhere, so let's take a look at this little beauty.

Bran Castle, also known as “Dracula's Castle”, is located in Brasov, Romania. This castle belonged to Mircea the Elder of Wallachia for a very short time. It has been the royal residence of Queen Marie. The Romanian government awarded ownership to Archduke Dominic of Austria, the Prince of Tuscany by title, Dominic von Habsburg, said to be the heir of Princess Ileana.

Dominic von Habsburg listed the castle for sale in 2007 asking $ 78 million US dollars for this price of history. I could not find how this castle became a national monument and landmark or even when, but it is now a museum open to tourists, with a wide collection of furniture said to belong to Queen Marie.

Now let's travel back around and see what other exuberant home I have come across this time. Our next stop is in Moscow, taking a look at this $100 million dollar home, said to be just 15 miles from the Moscow city center. This home comes with its own Turkish and Russian bath.

I hope you have enjoyed your stroll through these mansions, I know I have. I only have one question, “Who cleans all these homes?” I guess with the money it took to build all of these exuberant homes you would be able to afford the staff to keep it looking pristine and crisp. I can not even imagine living in these homes but would love to try.

WelL, this is breathtaking indeed considering the prices of those houses; that would be the total food consumption of my entire life here in the Philippines.. :)

Hein, Thank you for your comment, I did not have a favorite out of these homes. My favorite would be a home isolated by mountains and waterfalls, where I could walk in nature whenever I choose. With the one I love. That would be my favorite place.
