Ceilings From Feng Shui Perspective

Feng Shui is a system based on keen observation and experimentation, combining elements of nature and nutrition. It is the study of the environment, places, people, time, and how the energies of each interact.

Ceilings are the symbolic skies. There are three types of ceilings, i.e. High ceilings, Low ceilings and Slant ceilings.

High Ceilings

A room with high ceilings may feel dramatic and large. But it will be hard to concentrate on work or get good sleep in a room with high ceilings. The energies which need to be contained, will get dissipated in a room with high ceilings.

Low Ceilings

A very low ceiling puts undue pressure on a person and would cramp his lifestyle and thinking people feel stuffy. Forgetfulness and loss of focus are common, for energies that ought to be free and unrestrained will be bottled up by a low ceiling. One will have to add amore lights and mirrors and paint with bright colors as a remedy.

Slant Ceilings

This is a combination of a high ceiling and a low ceiling. Energies are pretty confused in this room. Bedrooms, kitchens or work rooms should not be sloped at any cost. Efficiency of activities beneath a sloped ceiling goes down.
