As of October 13, 2008, recent New York City Quake activity has been reported multiple times in the NYC area. There are a fairly large amount of faults under New York City, but have been seen and known as unactive and do not pose a threat to the city. In this report, these recent news has made scientist study the many faults under NYC's earth. Scientist came up with this; NYC is in grave danger to a disasterous earthquake that could send all the city buildings down and cause more chaos than 9'11.
This has made some office buildings take more precautions and store water and food away in case of an emergency. This is for all buildings, structures, centers, ect. To take precautions and be safe about the situation. The best way for these buildings to be prepared for the wort is to receive some help, information, tips from the west coast side of the USA, where the massive San Andreas Fault lies running through and parrallel to the coast of California, Oregon, and Washington. These states have buildings prepared for earthquakes, as the buildings would not crumble as easily as the buildings of NYC. Some buildings should goas far as remodeling the buildings and putting extra protection on just to be on the safe side. After all, the expensive companies would have no problem preforming such a task as this. All New Yorkers in the NYC area should be prepared for the worst.
