Fastest Texter Sets Record at 45 Seconds

Typing fast is not something everyone is able to do. But whoever can do it can improve his career if that is associated with typing at computer or a laptop.

At many occasions we generally require an average typing speed of 1000 words per hour without errors.

Even the jobs related to data entry require that a person should be able to type 30 words per minute without errors. This is not even possible by the world's fastest texter.

The student Elliot Nicholls had typed the following text within 45 seconds without looking at the screen and without any errors. What I do not know is whether he was allowed to read the text while typing or at least read it four times before starting to type.

"The razor toothed piranhas of the genera serrasalmus and pygocentrus are the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. In reality, they seldom attack a human."

It was said that this was a complex sentence and anyone will easily commit a mistake. So that credit goes the texter. Previous record was set at 93 seconds in the September of 2006. This was recorded in Guinness Book of Records.

What I wonder is that I too tried to type it fast and was able to do it in 30 seconds with one or zero errors in my four trials. Each time I was able to do it in 30 seconds which is better than the world's fastest texter as proclaimed by Guinness Book of Records.

So I am unsure of the conditions set for this speedy texting test.
