Did you ever notice that the best things in life are free? I am so tired of all the whiners, the moaners and weenies who are always complaining about how little money they have to spend. Join da club, welcome, come on in! Are there people who do have enough?
The last time I looked there were very wealthy people who still did not have enough money to do all the things they wanted to do either. Personally I believe that we are all born to want more, a human condition not some ‘oh poor me' club. If it turns out that, that is the case, please feel free to shoot me. I'd rather be dead. I honestly cannot take anymore of it.
I wake up just before sunrise, I hear the birds waking up in the morning, chirping and heralding in the new day. Then the sun starts rising, it's really beautiful. When was the last time you saw that? I sit on my deck with a hot cup of freshly plunged coffee, the sun streaming down on me, with birds twittering around and there is the quiet of nature, not silence but the quiet of nature. It is really something quite special. I appreciate this time in the morning, to count my blessings, if you like. I have a roof over my head, I have enough food to eat and my children are safe and warm still in their beds. Who could ask for more than that?
Sometimes when I sit in the morning, the love and warmth of the day really warms my heart, my spirit and feeds my soul then some bugger will come along to burst my bubble. Reality kicks in and I have to brace myself for those who want to kick sand in my face, or someone who wants my last dollar. Even the bus driver wants to run me over, well golly gee, sometimes things get a bit wacko but I still try keep a smile on my face because that always makes people wonder what you are up too. Works well most of the time, for those times when it doesn't, shit happens.
You don't have to voice your opinions all the time and sometimes it is actually nicer if you don't. Move on, have a great day instead of moaning about what you cannot do because you haven't enough money and do something else that you can afford. A picnic in a park can be quite invigorating and doesn't cost too much. The things that can happen and the things you do see when you carry on are often very stimulating.
A walk in the park can do wonders or a walk by the sea. Little things that do not cost anything can be very moving, and it's free! Life is way too short to moan and groan all the time!
There's a line in a song which was relatively recent, that goes:
"Happiness is not having what you want; it's wanting what you have...."
Hmmmm....Lots of wisdom there.
Thanks again.
