How can passion be a way to success?
Passion is not something that could be obtained overnight. It is a step by step process that develops gradually in an individual.
First the person must have an ambition, a vision, and a dream. Dreams should be grand and ambitions should be lofty. The name of the game is “think big”. Dreams are free so why not take advantage of it? Dream the biggest dream that you would ever like to achieve.
Second, plot the road to fulfillment. Make a blue print of the small steps that you would do to get there. Make a map of where you want to go. It will help if you set up attainable shorter goals than one big leap. Be sure you place some landmarks (self-evaluations) to check if you're heading the correct way.
Third, persevere and never give up! You have not failed not until you have stop trying. Keep at it, no matter what happens. Have you read about the story of a marathon runner who gave up at the very last bend of the road? Don't be like him who have given up when all was within his reach. It is at times that everything seems to be unattainable that success is near! Don't waste all your previous effort because of a last minute loss of faith.
When you have the first three, then you have obtained the necessary fourth aspect to succeed - PASSION. Be wise and don't succumb to the temptation of mediocrity and smugness. Your passion should be coupled with a sense of charity and generosity to other people. Treat people as you would want them to treat you. Truly successful people are good and generous people.
The road to success is not unreachable as long as you have the passion to succeed! Go for it!
