This is an invitation to people everywhere, regardless of race, creed, religion or culture. We need to start an new kind of revolution where ever we may find ourselves. Yes, this revolution will be a fierce one that may earn us many a scoff and leave us with many battle scars.
Unlike any other war that is presently going on; the only weapons we will use are our hearts and the only wounds we will receive will come from those who will oppose our ideas. Today, more then ever, we need people everywhere to stop fighting against one another for silly reasons and to begin loving one another as brothers and sisters of this one big human family.
Though we may have differences in beliefs, a different shade of skin, a different way to worship and even different dialects we can all share one common goal: to bring an end to wars .. to promote a world of peace and to reach out to one another in love.
Why we can find justification in the killing of hundreds, yes even thousands, of innocent people worldwide, totally baffles me. Why are we killing one another, what do we hope to accomplish? How does violence and bloodshed solve anything.? Tell me..if you will .. is this the way to created new life.. destroying lives that already exist?
No matter what language you may speak, you will have to agree with me, you want peace. Peace is the absence of violence. Is is possible to melt down every weapon, demolish every tank, undo every bomb, erase all prejudice, end every war, shake the hand of your enemy?
Can we ever come to an era where we can all agree that there has already been way to much bloodshed, way too many wars, way too much hatred?
How many more towns must be leveled, how many more children left orphaned, how many more soldiers in boxes laid to rest?
Why can't there be peace? WHy can't we stop fighting? Can anyone tell me? WHY?
Please don't tell me God wants all this.. He does not .. He did not make us to hate but to love..
SO tell me ..why can't we stop? Someone please tell me!!
